tu’iē is more than a volleyball club. founded in 2022, by an afakasi sāmoan sibling duo, tu’iē serves as a space for all. created to fill gaps, we operate on the ethos that sport is more than the podium - the value of sport is in the community, in the people, and in the lessons.

there is always a place for you at tu’iē. what started as a groups of ten has grown to an aiga of over 250 players. multiple gym spaces are run a week, ensuring there is space for every level of play. always free, and always welcome.

service is central to tu’iē, with our reach expanding into many high schools across ōtepoti. our club offers not only spaces to connect and play, but opportunities to grow as a leader in the community.

guided by the values of the fa’a sāmoa, tu’iē drives for volleyball to be a catalyst for positive community. everybody gets to play, and everybody gets to feel welcome. because at the end of the day, games are supposed to be fun.
